First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study measured certain immune system markers in the blood of 60 head and neck cancer patients who were getting radiation therapy with the goal of curing their cancer. The researchers wanted to see if these markers could help predict whether the cancer would come back or spread. The study did not test a new treatment, but rather collected information to better understand the disease.
