Scientists search blood for clues to Cancer's return

NCT ID NCT03325036

Summary

This study aimed to see if certain markers in the blood could help predict whether head and neck cancer might come back after radiation treatment. Researchers followed 60 patients receiving curative radiation therapy. They measured various immune system signals in the blood to see if they were linked to the chances of the cancer recurring or the patient's survival.
