NCT ID NCT04599764

First seen Jun 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026

Summary

This study tested a gentle brain stimulation technique (HD-tDCS) combined with computer-based memory exercises in 60 people with early Alzheimer's. The goal was to see if this combination could improve thinking and memory more than either treatment alone. Researchers also used brain scans to look for changes in brain networks linked to any benefits.
