New clues about hidden inflammation in Hashimoto's disease
NCT ID NCT07510750
First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study measured levels of reverse T3, a little-known thyroid hormone, and markers of inflammation in 179 people with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. The goal was to see if these markers differ between patients taking thyroid medication and those who are not. The research aims to better understand how Hashimoto's affects the whole body, not just the thyroid.
