Summary
This study looked at whether using a small, handheld ultrasound device at the bedside could help doctors diagnose abdominal issues faster in hospitalized adults. 225 patients who needed a gastroenterology consultation took part. The goal was to see if this approach reduced the time to get a diagnosis and shortened hospital stays.
