Simple hand wash could slash abscess risk for drug injectors

Summary
This study tests if teaching hand washing and providing a single-use hand sanitizer can reduce skin abscesses in people who inject drugs. About 440 participants will either get standard care or standard care plus the hand hygiene program. The goal is to see if better hand cleaning lowers infection rates.
