First seen Nov 16, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding a technique called venous occlusion (using a cuff to briefly restrict blood flow) to standard resistance hand exercises could improve hand strength and function in people recovering from hand burns. 34 participants with healed hand burns completed the program. The goal was to see if this added method makes a difference in how well the hand works again.
