Summary
This study follows 1,000 hospitalized adults with acute kidney injury to understand how kidneys recover and what long-term problems may arise, such as chronic kidney disease, heart issues, or dementia. Researchers will compare patients with kidney injury to those without to identify risk factors and improve future care. No new treatments are tested; the goal is to gather knowledge.
