New hair loss injection trial pits secretome against popular PRP treatment
NCT ID NCT07429253
Summary
This study is testing two different types of scalp injections to see which works better for treating common genetic hair loss (androgenetic alopecia). Researchers will compare a newer treatment called 'secretome' with the more established platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. They will measure changes in hair thickness and the number of hairs in a specific area of the scalp to determine effectiveness.
