New combo therapy aims to shrink liver tumors without harming liver function

Summary
This study tests a treatment for advanced liver cancer that delivers chemotherapy directly to the liver through a thin tube, combined with a gentle embolization agent (lipiodol) to block tumor blood supply temporarily. The goal is to shrink tumors while keeping the liver working well. About 24 adults with advanced liver cancer will participate in this early-phase trial.
