First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests a treatment that delivers chemotherapy directly to the liver (HAIC) combined with standard drugs for people with biliary tract cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to shrink tumors enough so that surgery becomes possible, potentially improving survival. About 40 adults with newly diagnosed cancer will receive this approach to see if it works better than current treatments.
