Doctors investigate why pneumonia keeps coming back

NCT ID NCT06517277

Summary

This study looked back at hospital records to understand why some adults with Haemophilus influenzae pneumonia get sick again soon after finishing treatment. Researchers analyzed data from 203 adult patients across 13 hospitals who were treated for this type of pneumonia over one year. The goal was to identify what factors make relapse more likely and to better understand how severe these infections can be.
