Scientists test Weight-Loss drug safety for people with kidney problems

This study aims to understand how the experimental injection GZR18 is processed by the body in people with different levels of kidney function compared to those with normal kidneys. Researchers will give a single dose to 32 adults with and without kidney impairment and closely monitor drug levels and safety for about 50 days. The goal is to gather information to create safe dosing guidelines for future patients with kidney problems who might use this medication for weight management.
