Can a daily gut pill speed up recovery after a Life-Threatening ICU stay?

Summary
This study is testing whether a daily food supplement containing a specific pasteurized gut bacteria can help adults recover after being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for sepsis. Researchers want to see if the supplement is safe to take for 56 days and if it improves the balance of helpful bacteria in the gut. They will compare the supplement to a placebo (a dummy pill) in 50 participants to measure effects on gut health and the immune system.
