Could a fiber supplement ease gulf war illness?

Summary
This study tests whether a dietary fiber supplement can improve gut health and quality of life in veterans with Gulf War Illness (GWI). About 52 veterans aged 50-85 with GWI and gut symptoms will take the supplement and provide stool samples. Researchers will measure changes in gut bacteria and related chemicals to see if the supplement helps reduce symptoms.
