First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at how bacteria inside tumors might help predict whether a patient with digestive cancer will respond well to chemotherapy before surgery. Researchers will collect tumor samples from 90 adults with stomach, colon, pancreas, or esophageal cancer to study these bacteria. The goal is to find new ways to identify which patients are most likely to benefit from treatment.
