Summary

This study aimed to understand if there is a link between gut bacteria and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Researchers compared the types and amounts of bacteria in the gut of 55 people newly diagnosed with RA to those of healthy volunteers. The goal was to gather knowledge about how the gut environment might relate to the development of this autoimmune disease.
