Could your gut bugs predict cancer treatment success?
NCT ID NCT07400354
Summary
This study aims to see if the types of bacteria in a person's gut can help predict how well a combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy will work for advanced stomach cancer. It will enroll 300 adults with metastatic stomach cancer who have not had prior chemotherapy or immunotherapy. Researchers will analyze participants' gut bacteria at three key points during their standard treatment to look for patterns linked to how long the cancer stays under control.
