Gut bacteria boosts lung cancer treatment? new trial underway

Summary
This study tests whether adding a special gut bacteria treatment (RMT) to standard immunotherapy and chemotherapy can help control advanced lung cancer better than standard treatment alone. About 82 adults with untreated, advanced non-small cell lung cancer will receive either RMT or a placebo alongside their regular drugs. The goal is to see if the bacteria therapy improves how long the cancer stays under control and if it is safe to combine with these treatments.
