Could your gut hold the key to slowing diabetic kidney disease?
NCT ID NCT07352436
Summary
This study aims to understand how gut bacteria and chemicals in the blood are connected to blood sugar swings and the worsening of diabetic kidney disease. Researchers will observe 270 patients with diabetic kidney disease, monitoring their blood sugar continuously and analyzing their stool and blood samples. The goal is to learn if these factors can help predict which patients are at higher risk for serious complications, potentially leading to better early detection and care strategies.
