First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at how gut bacteria and substances in the blood (metabolites) relate to blood sugar ups and downs and kidney disease progression in people with diabetic kidney disease. Researchers will follow 270 adults aged 18-65 for several years, using continuous glucose monitors and analyzing stool and blood samples. The goal is to find early warning signs of worsening kidney disease and improve care.
