French hospitals study gunshot victims to find keys to survival
NCT ID NCT05224570
Summary
This study looked back at medical records of 120 patients admitted to French intensive care units with gunshot wounds between 2015 and 2021. Researchers aimed to understand how often these patients die and what factors might predict survival, such as age, where they were shot, and how quickly they reached the hospital. The goal is to gather information that could help improve future care for similar injuries.
