New lip tuck shows promise for gummy smile fix

Summary

This study tested two surgical methods to reduce a gummy smile in 20 adults aged 18-38. One method was the standard lip repositioning, the other a modified technique that also tames the muscle lifting the upper lip. The goal was to see which approach better reduces gum show and lasts longer without relapse over 6 months.
