Dental researchers test four ways to prepare gum tissue for faster healing
NCT ID NCT05947305
Summary
This study compares four different methods for preparing gum tissue during dental surgery to see which leads to better healing and less pain. Researchers will randomly assign 48 dental surgery patients to have their gum tissue prepared using one of four tools: a special blade, a laser, a dental drill, or a surgical instrument called a mucotome. The study will track healing progress and patient comfort over three weeks to determine if one method is clearly better than the others.
