First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new collagen matrix can replace the standard gum graft taken from the roof of the mouth to treat receding gums. Sixty adults who had braces and now have gum recession will receive either the collagen material or the traditional graft. The goal is to see if the new material works as well while avoiding the pain of a second surgical site.
