New study pits two gum repair surgeries Head-to-Head
NCT ID NCT04513041
Summary
This study directly compared two minimally invasive surgical techniques for treating receding gums. Twenty-one adult patients with mild to moderate gum recession had both procedures performed on different sides of their mouth. Researchers measured how well each technique covered the exposed tooth root, increased gum thickness, and affected patient pain and satisfaction over six months.
