Tiny titanium posts tested to fill gaps in your smile
NCT ID NCT07401667
Summary
This small dental study tested a new method for rebuilding the small triangle of gum (papilla) between teeth, which can recede and create black spaces. Researchers compared surgically placing a small titanium insert into the bone against the standard method of using a graft of the patient's own gum tissue. They measured how well each method improved the gum's appearance and healed over three months in 18 young, healthy participants.
