New gum surgery techniques show promise for saving teeth
NCT ID NCT07119307
Summary
This study tested three different surgical approaches for treating bone loss around teeth caused by gum disease. Researchers compared a gum preservation technique alone versus the same technique combined with different bone-healing materials. The goal was to see which approach best helped gums reattach to teeth and reduce deep pockets where bacteria collect.
