First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at how the gums around a dental implant crown change shape when the crown is temporarily removed. Researchers want to know how long it takes for the gum to change enough to affect making a new crown. About 34 adults with a front tooth implant will have their gums scanned over 15 minutes. The goal is to help dentists know the best time to take a mold for a new crown.
