Summary

This study compares two types of membranes (bovine pericardium vs. native collagen) used with bone graft to repair class II furcation defects in lower molars. Twenty adults with these gum bone defects were treated and followed for 6 months to see which membrane leads to better bone and gum healing. The goal is to improve gum disease treatment outcomes.
