First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study compares two treatments for repairing bone damage from advanced gum disease. About 40 adults with deep gum pockets will receive either a combination of hyaluronic acid and polynucleotides (Regenfast) plus a bone graft, or enamel matrix proteins (Emdogain) plus a bone graft. The goal is to see which approach better restores bone and gum attachment over 5 years.
