First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether using custom 3D-printed surgical guides makes jawbone grafting less painful and faster than the traditional freehand method. Forty adults who need bone rebuilding before getting dental implants will be randomly assigned to either the guided or freehand technique. The main goal is to see if the guided approach reduces pain, swelling, and recovery time, based on patient feedback.
