First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study explores whether guided imagery—a relaxation technique using mental visualization—can reduce the physical and emotional symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) in university students. Researchers will enroll 48 women with regular cycles and moderate-to-severe PMS. Participants will practice guided imagery exercises and report symptom changes. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to improve well-being during the premenstrual phase.
