First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether guided imagery—a relaxation technique using mental pictures—can reduce the physical and emotional symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) in university students. About 48 students with regular cycles and moderate-to-severe PMS will practice guided imagery and report their symptom changes. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to improve quality of life during PMS.
