Summary

This study tested whether guided imagery—a relaxation technique using calming mental images—can improve quality of life and reduce insomnia in perimenopausal women aged 45 to 59. Sixty-eight women were randomly assigned to either a guided imagery group or a control group. Researchers measured changes in menopausal symptoms and sleep quality using standard questionnaires.
