Cash for cancer care: $1000 a month trial aims to ease financial burden

Summary
This study looks at whether giving advanced cancer patients $1000 each month for a year can reduce their financial stress and improve their quality of life. About 250 people with stage 3 or 4 cancer who are on Medicaid will take part. They will receive the monthly payments and fill out surveys every three months to track their well-being and treatment adherence.
