New drug combo targets tough blood cancers

Summary
This study tests a combination of two drugs—guadecitabine and atezolizumab—in people with myelodysplastic syndrome or chronic myelomonocytic leukemia that has spread, returned, or not responded to prior treatment. The goal is to find the best dose and see if the combo can shrink or control the cancer. About 33 adults who have already tried standard therapy will participate.
