New hope for Hard-to-Treat prostate cancer: experimental drug enters human trials

Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new drug, GSK5458514, designed to help the immune system attack prostate cancer cells. It is for men with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), a type that has spread and stopped responding to hormone therapy. The study will first find a safe dose, then test that dose alone or with other cancer drugs in about 85 participants.
