Hormone therapy trial offers hope for stomach paralysis sufferers
NCT ID NCT06803589
Summary
This early study is testing whether low-dose growth hormone can improve symptoms like nausea, pain, and bloating in people with gastroparesis (stomach paralysis). Researchers at Mayo Clinic will enroll 10 patients who haven't gotten enough relief from standard treatments. They'll measure symptom changes using questionnaires about digestive discomfort and bowel function.
