Can growth hormone make short boys stronger?
NCT ID NCT04020913
Summary
This study looked at how growth hormone treatment affects muscle strength, body composition, and metabolism in short prepubertal boys. Researchers followed 45 boys (30 with short stature and 15 with normal height) for 12 months, measuring changes in muscle function and body composition. The goal was to understand benefits beyond just height growth in boys receiving standard growth hormone therapy.
