New combo technique may spot lung cancer earlier and treat it in one go

Summary
This study looks at a new way to diagnose and treat ground-glass lung nodules, which can be early signs of lung cancer. About 200 people with small nodules (3 cm or less) will get microwave ablation to destroy the nodule, plus a biopsy during the same procedure to check if it's cancer. The goal is to see if this combined approach can accurately detect cancer and improve how long patients live without the disease coming back.
