Scientists probe link between thyroid inflammation and eye damage

Summary
This study looks back at medical records to understand how body-wide inflammation and thyroid antibodies might affect the delicate structures at the back of the eye in people with Graves disease. Researchers will compare eye scan measurements and blood test results from 100 people, including healthy individuals and those with Graves disease, some with and some without eye complications. The goal is to gather knowledge about potential connections, not to test a new treatment.
