First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether graphic novels and comics can be a useful tool for teaching psychology students about mental health. 158 students read excerpts from graphic novels about real mental health experiences and then answered questions about how usable and engaging they found the material. The goal was to see if this visual, story-based approach helps students connect emotionally and understand complex topics better than traditional textbooks alone.
