First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a special 'brain training' technique called graded motor imagery to standard exercises can reduce pain and improve movement in people with foot or ankle osteoarthritis. Twenty-four adults with long-term ankle pain will be randomly assigned to either exercise alone or exercise plus the brain training. The goal is to see if this approach can help people manage their symptoms better.
