New hope for myeloma: experimental drug GR1803 takes on standard combo in phase 3 trial

Summary

This study tests whether a new drug called GR1803 works better than the standard treatment daratumumab (combined with pomalidomide and dexamethasone) for people with multiple myeloma that has returned or stopped responding after 1 to 3 prior treatments. About 358 adults with this blood cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either GR1803 or the standard combo. The main goal is to see how long the cancer stays under control.
