Gout crystal dissolution timeline under scrutiny in new study

Summary
This study tracks 250 adults with gout to see how quickly urate crystals in the joints dissolve when uric acid levels are kept very low. Participants will have regular ultrasound scans of their feet and knees. The goal is to find out what affects the time to crystal clearance and help guide treatment.
