Summary

This study tests a new gout drug, tigulixostat, against an existing one, febuxostat, in 600 Chinese adults with gout. The goal is to see which better lowers uric acid levels below a target threshold over 24 weeks, while also monitoring safety, gout attacks, and quality of life for up to a year. Participants must be 18 or older, have a gout diagnosis, and meet specific uric acid levels.
