Summary
This study measured how much energy elite amateur golfers use when walking 18 holes versus riding in a buggy. Sixteen healthy golfers wore heart rate and activity monitors during tournament play in Portugal. The goal is to help players plan better nutrition and recovery strategies based on their mode of transport.
