Summary
This study tested whether special cookies made from Golden Rice and an herb called Piper crocatum could lower fasting blood sugar and improve quality of life in 102 people living with HIV who also have high blood sugar. Participants ate either the Golden Rice cookies or plain control cookies daily for 28 days. The goal was to see if this simple food-based approach could help manage blood sugar and boost well-being.
