Gold injections could ease knee pain for years

Summary
This study tests whether tiny gold particles injected into the knee can reduce pain and the need for extra treatments in people with knee osteoarthritis. About 240 adults with long-term knee pain will receive either the gold injection or a placebo. The goal is to see if this simple treatment can delay or avoid more invasive procedures like surgery.
